Earthy
In this all levels Pilates class, we will work on balancing the body with traditional mat exercises that strengthen the deep core and postural muscles while lengthening ourselves from head to foot! We will also incorporate magically functional movements (think: pushing, pulling, squatting, etc.) into each class to improve muscle coordination and balance. A spellbinding combination of strength and length.
A classical yoga practice that explores the ancient poses, breaths and tools through the lens of intelligent alignment and inner magick. In film, photography and art, magic hour is the time when the light is warmest and dreamiest — in yoga, the practices and philosophies point us to the fact that warmth and enchantment exist within. We use our hour and all the classical tools to seek, find and honor those qualities together.
Spacious
An opportunity for your muscles, your breath, and your heart to expand and make space. Class includes a patient warm up, lots of deep mindful stretching, and closes with a generous journey inward using breathwork and relaxation.
At some point we all experience the need to slow down and recharge. This weekly class focuses on deeply soothing your nervous system. You will be offered resources of mindful movement and stretches to unwind your body coupled with attentive breathwork, self-massage, and reflective integration. Your practice will be accompanied by dreamy, ambient music. Through this practice, we can restore ourselves and enhance our skills to self regulate in all areas of life.
We will practice with yoga blocks and blankets. Please bring yours if you have them. No yoga experience needed.
Monthly Magick
A deep dive into the ancient poses & practice. A little less flow with lots of cool shapes to make and breaths to take. An enchanting opportunity for self study and inner connection appropriate for any practitioner.
